Hello, i have a 220 watt psu in an acer aspire x3990. It has a core i7 2600 6 GB of ram, a network card 1TB HHD and an optical drive. i allready have a 5570 installed and i was wondering if the new hd 7750 would run on this system ?
This info should be on a sticker on the visible side of the PSU within the case. Sometimes it lists wattage on the 12V rail(s) instead of amperage, either is fine so long as you specify that it is wattage instead of amperage (this is not the same as the total wattage that the PSU is rated for).
I wouldnt have even installed the 5570 on a stock Acer PSU. You should swap it out for another one (only like $30) then you wont have to worry about the power supply at all.

Sad that Acer would cheap out like that. I'm surprised it hasn't caught on fire yet as it's not meant to have a gpu.
