Pci express 3 0 backwards compatible with 1 0?

Just now I had a reply from the sapphire support person saying that there are issues with 3.0 cards in 1.0 slot...Is there really issues>>?I need answer from anyone who has implemented this..

Not always though, it's a bit like a lottery.

Sometimes a bios update fixes the problem.

You can try to find someone on the net using the exact same pc as yours with a 3.0 card. You tube for example can help sometimes.

I don't think the issue would be that huge. If it doesnt work then you can always just send it back.
