What's the best of these cards? List them in order (first the best then the medium then the lower).
Price is not the issue as the difference is 10-20 € here in Greece and the prices of AMD GPUs are expected to be cut again...
Sooo... which one?

My resolution is 1280x768 but I won't the GPU to be futureproof!
Thanks in advance!

so with what you just said the 192BIT on the GTX 660 Ti is inferior to the 384BIT BUS on the HD 7950. which makes it a better buy ?

Why get a 660Ti at his monitor res. of 768p? He'd be fine with a 7770 at that resolution.

The 660Ti does choke. The 7950 is the same price and is better in most cases.

And btw the 7770 is lower then the 660 Ti..Even if you going to stay at the rest you could get the 660 but at 1080p the 660 Ti does just fine..You can run aa with it as well as 1080p and i havent ran into any programs..I run crysis 2 on high with dx11/texture pack on 60 frames so yea and still have some room left over on the frames..People normally that give advice will run they games ultra to no end and the thing with cards is that you dont have to fully play at high and its custom to how you want it...Even i had the gtx 460 and played skyrim on high so

Cause he might goto 1080p and the 660 doesnt choke as hard as you think..The math on the 660 Ti to 670 witch is the the next level at high end cards is 8 more ropes from 24 to make it 32/48Gb/s on the memory bandwidth from 144 to make it 192 and 64-bit on the memory bus from 192 to make it 256..10-15 percent better..You can choke out the 670 2 but what im saying is he said future proof..He might say f it and get a 1080p The 660 Ti will work i own one and played many games with it..

Dude, we all know the 7770 is lower than the 660Ti. The 660Ti is good, but at 768p, it's superflous! If he's going to stick to that resolution. just get a 7770 or get the 8770 coming out this December. (1920x1080)/(1280x768) is 2.1. Which means that 768p is 2x less demanding than 1080p. If he wants 1080p, than get a 7870/7950. And you keep assuming that the OP wants 1080p. If he wants, he'll get one, but we don't know.

I am going to buy a 1080p monitor in around half a year...
So in coclusion should I buy the 7870? There is always the chance that the prices drop and I get the 7950!
