GTX 550 ti or HD 7770, 100-140€

HI,

A few simple questions on behalf of my friend. Our budget around 100-140 euros. I need to know if GTX 550ti is better or AMD HD 7770.

1. http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=647&card2=675 Shows that:

GTX 550 ti has more mem bandwidth and shader clock. The Pipeline layout: Test
HD 7770 has more FLOPS, Texture fill rate, Shader Processors and the Pipeline Layout: RISC MIMD

My question is how which of these variables are more important. I also have a notion that some of them may be important for some games while others will be important for others.

2. I would still want to know how important FLOPS, texture fill rate, Shader processors, and Pipeline layout are anyway.

3. If GTX 550ti is a recommendation that buying 2GB GTX 550 ti is worth it costing 40 euros more than 1gb version. is 2Gb worth it at all??

4. Is 530 W power supply good enough for the recommended GPU?

5. I hope these GPU's can run BF3, Crysis 2, Mafia 2 at a decent frame rate at a resolution of 1440x900.

Not familar with your PSU. Could be ok with these cards, but might consider upgrade later. I always buy a top notch PSU with in the long run saves me money and headaches.

550ti has more mem bandwidth and 7770 has more texture fill rate and more core clock speed. So i am not sure which one might be better.

All that is fine, but look at how each actually play game. Benchmarks.
Both will serve your needs.

Yes, i think HD 7770 has good benchmarks. I have looked at other places too. Thanks for showing a nice bench marking site. I was going to go for 550ti for sure.
