Black screen ater win 7 login

Dear community,

i just gota brandnew i7 system, asus p9x79pro with a zotac GTX 680.
after win 7 64 bit login, i see the logo all right, but immediately after that i get a black screen, just the cursor works. in safe mode i see the screen.
this is the second time this happens during the setup of the new system, first time i restarted completely, the second ime it happened after installing the NVIDIA driver. when i deinstall the grafic driver, screen is back.
please, do you have any suggestion?
