Just an idea about SLI two GTX690

If I'm planing to game on triple 1080p monitors for Nvidia 3D surround, and i knew GTX690 does support SLI and can only be paired with another GTX 690. So is it possible to build a system sufficient enough to match the cooling and power supply requirement?
And i assume if such extreme rig really exists, will the current SLI technology or DX11 system take fully advantage of this quad core GPU with 8Gb memory?

Well remember you really only have 2GB vram in such a setup (which IMO is a big reason not to do it)

All you'd need from a PSU standpoint is a decent 1000W+ unit and all you'd need for cooling would be decent case airflow and a motherboard that would let you have a slot of space between the cards.

You would need a highly overclocked Sandy Bridge/Ivy Bridge/Sandy Bridge-E CPU to power it.

You'd have to check out 690 quad-SLI reviews to see benchmarks but generally quad-GPU gaming causes way more problems than it solves.
