Usb 3.0 question?

can you guys provide a detailed overclocking guide as i have never overclocked a cpu before neither a gpu and also the antec one is what im going for but its the same price as the antec one hundred and the antec one has 11.5 inch gpu clearance while the antec one has 10.5 although the antec one hundred does not have usb .30 and you said the sandy bridge series does not have native usb 3.0 so i think its worth it and i dont think i need usb 3.0??? and im assuming a m-atx is better because of airflow? please reply thanks.

  1. If you like your USB being faster when transferring files or charging a headset, USB 3.0 is worth it. But anyways I'd recommend the 3570K over the 2500K because of the 10% core-per-core performance increase. They also overclock just as well (But get a bit hotter)
  2. YEAH BUT IM ON ABUDGET SO I REALLY CANT.. fail caps lol....
  3. They are the exact same price on Newegg....

Sorry, But i want to know what type of stable OC can i expect on a Intel i5 3570K with a Hyper 212+ and another question is should i change my case i'm currently thinking of the Antec One gaming case, But would it be bad of it's zize should i change the case. The GPU im going to purchase is a XFX Radeon 7870 Core Edition it fits in the case.
  7. Antec 100 should be fine for you. Airflow doesn't effect the processor a whole lot, if you think about it. From what I've heard, you can get to 4.5 Ghz with the 212 evo. For my newest build I'm buying
I don't know If the Antec 100 would fit it though. Are you set on one of these two cases? If not I can suggest some others
  8. That link just displayed the homepage? And any suggestions would be appreciated.
  9. COOLER MASTER V6 GT CPU COOLER. google it, I'm sure you'll find it.
  10. Also, would you like me to suggest cases in the 50-100 dollar range?
  11. For case i'd like $70-75 max
  12. Reviews say the antec one or 300 is better and there's a corsair 300r $66 amazon.
  13. If that link doesn't work: If that link doesn't work search this on newegg: NZXT Source 210 Elite White Steel with painted interior ATX Mid Tower Computer Case w/ Black Front Trim
    ATX > mATX
  14. Corsair 300r is good. but I really like NZXT. What system are you building? Like what are your specs
  15. I do not suggest those 2 antec cases.
  16. Reason?
  17. And get the 212 EVO instead of the 212 plus.
  18. What's your budget/ what are you building it for. I can put together an entire build for you.
EDIT: Also, the basics are: ATX performs better but mATX is smaller. pretty much.
  19. I'm sticking with the non-evo i already know why you suggested the evo and why not the antec cases? in order to get the evo version i need to get a cheaper case like 60 or lower.
  20. Newegg has this on sale for the next 24 hours:

Fractal Design Arc Midi Black High Performance PC Computer Case w/ USB 3.0 and 3 x Fractal High Performance 140mm fans

This promo code knocks it down to $59.99
  21. The antec cases hardly have any options for cable management. the evo is 10 bucks more.. WHAT'S YOUR BUDGET. I'll fix you up.
  22. Whole pc budget is 650-700 dollars i don't need a hd cd drive or monitor mouse and keyboard....
  23. Get the mobo/case I suggested.
    And get the EVO.
the case I suggested is 49.99
so that'll fit. You should be able to max out bf3, so. xD
  24. if you can't afford that^ you can not buy a GPU then save up a bit and buy the GPU later on. or get like a ~450-500w psu
