Hi everyone, this is my first day on this website. I am thinking of building my own gaming computer and i'm wondering do all these parts work together and what psu am i going to need?

The Parts are

Mars Midi Tower Gaming Case (with the temp display)
AMD Bulldozer FX-4170 Quad Core 4.2GHz
Asus M5A99X EVO Motherboard
1GB nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti Graphics Card
32GB RAM
3TB Hard Drive
3.0 USB ports
2 extra LED fans
DVD Drive

I don't know if these parts will work together or what psu I will need. I did an online PSU calculator and it gave me a wattage of over 1,000 which seemed a bit high. Can anyone suggest a good PSU at a reasonable price? Thanks in advance, Gary

For a gaming computer the max RAM you would need is 4GB, so 8GB is the perfect amount of ram for your games/ background programs(AV,Itunes, Etc.)

For a power supply i wouldn't go less than a 600w unit, maybe a little more to give yourself future upgrade ability. If you get that video card, make sure your PSU has x2 6 pin connectors, as that card requires too. That being said, i would probably go for an amd radeon card at this point.

Corsair has some good quality PSUs, take a look at their builder series.

Definately consider a small SSD to install your OS on, and use the 3TB hard drive for storage.

Make sure you buy the OS if you dont already have one.
