Hi i have posted this address in the past but if you go to
http://www.sitefinder.radio.gov.uk/ you can find your nearest 2g and 3g
basestation

Potentially very useful, but if you zoom out on the map display, the
base station symbols disappear. That means that if there aren't any base
stations *very* close to your location, you've a tedious panning
exercise ahead to try and find one. Ho hum.

Unless you're looking in Northern Ireland where the BTS symbols are
visible at sensible magnifications.
