I picked up a lenovo Y580 with a GTX 660M, I'm very satisfied with it.... But yeah I'd probably take the 540m over the HD 3000

You cannot really compare GTX 660M with GT 540M, they are in totally different league. GTX 660M is a midrange gaming card, while GT 540M is card for internet and movies.

You all do know that HD3000 is intergrated graphics that are in the CPU? And gt 540 is a dedicated graphics card and is pretty good. I have a damn ASUS for 900$ with i3(planning on upgrading to i7 for 250$) 8gb ram and gt540m. It even can pull BF3 at low graphics even though low and mid almost have no difference in fps, 25-45fps. I'd recommend going with the dedicated graphics card if that's the case, but you should get that powerfull ugly ass lenovo. Trust me design is not worth it, but 900$ for GTX660M and i7 and 6gb ram and 750gb, well you can't go wrong with this. If it's power that you're looking for go with lenovo for they are cheap and powerful, but ugly and if your're looking for something with good design, well then choose anyting except lenovo.
