Hi auntarie, Ok i Am RMA-ing my card and while waiting, got myself a new gtx 560 ti evga 2gb version.
Plugged it in and i got a new problem now! *facepalm. My graphics driver crashed with this error : "display drivers has stopped working and has recovered".
once the driver crashes, my wd element external hdd , mouse, keyboard would stop working. Then i will has to manually shut it down.
The power supply i am using is 650 w cooler master extreme.
I dont think its the power supply problem cos i switched to another psu but still had the same problem.
This sounds like a motherboard problem
One wierd and funny thing is that when i boot during cold boot,
I see white lines appearing while windows VISTA loader appears.
P.S i am using windows 7. Only had tht as my os since then.
Anyone experiencing this? I am thinking pf buying a new board and cpu!
Yeah, that PSU is powerful enough. Can you try a different PCI-e x16 slot on your motherboard, if you have an extra one or two? Kind of thinking there's something wrong with your primary slot right now...
