Weird ticking sound from Laptop ( not around hdd area )

Hi everyone , here's my first post on this forum : A few days ago I upgraded the hdd on my MSI GT70 , and ever since I've been getting this weird intermittent ticking from the area around my battery and SSD ( somewhere just to the right of the touchpad ) . As far as I can tell , there are no moving parts in the immediate vicinity of this area and yet I keep hearing this ticking . I tried running my lappy on AC power without the battery , but the ticking continues . I even had my laptop cleaned to no avail . Any suggestions ?
