No picture

when i plug my monitor in to my graphics card i don't get a picture. but i can plug it right back into my motherboard and i do. i tried a diffrent card and still the same problem. is something turned off in the bios?

AMD athlon 64 X2 Duel core processor 5200 2.70 ghz 4 gb ram graphics card- ati radeon hd 3300

You need to go into the BIOS and switch the vga to pcie instead on onboard.

ok i found a spot in the Bios where it says (power on by PCIE/onboard lan disabled). is that what i need to enable and will i still get a picture when i start up using my motherboard?
