Please anyone help me.
Partition Magic freezed my computer while moving a partition, I couldn't access it anymore.
I managed to recover it but all the Files are in one big 'FOUND.000' Folder (generated by chkdsk on Win2k).
Now my question is: is there anybody out there who can tell me how I can restore the original Files?
This is pretty important because this partition holds all my personal data which I mustn't loose - it would be a desaster.
I'd really apprecceate any help/ideas/links I can get from you.

cant be much help here but i was reading on a different site about a recovery program that will restor-retrieve that data.. think it works in dos not sure what to look for sounded way over my head.. look at hardware central or virtual DR hope this helps..

Sorry to inform you bu you shouldn't run chkdsk, I such a case don't run any tool except specifically designed for recovering data but better get it to specialist that knows what to do. You could run Tiramisu app. if you would like repair it by yourself. Now chkdsk destroyed names and created new (FOUND.000, etc.) ones. However get disk to some professional, he may be capable of recovering some data.
