Upgrading from 32bit to 64bit Windows 8

Greetings,
I just downloaded Windows 8 upgrade from my computer running the 32 bit version of Windows 7. I want to (clean) install Win 8 on another computer I have which runs a 64 bit version of Win 7

It seems that the downloaded Win 8 upgrade is a 32 bit version. How can I get a 64 bit instead? (I understand that I should ask this from Microsoft but after 3h:15 at their support site I cannot find any answer)
Please advise.
Regards

  1. They are seperate versions of Windows, you will need to purchase a 64bit version.
