The cark 143 is the discontinued model which works with the 6200. Anyone know
if it could work with the 6230? It seems quite similar. Uses the HFU-5 instead
of the HFU-4. I do not want to use bluetooth. I have both the 6200 & 6230 in
the household.

Anyone know if the HFU-4 can accept a privacy handset. The HFU-5 does not.

Should do, plug it in and see, the bits for the CARK-143 seem to be
the same as the european CARK-126.

If the US version of the HFU-4 is the same as the european version
then it supports the privacy handset HSU-3, best thing is to have a
look at the control box to see if it has a spare port for the handset.
