Hi, so I connected my computer to my monitor with a DVI to HDMI cord to get hdmi on my computer, the monitor is a 32" Widescreen 1920x1080 Sceptre X325BV-FHD LCD HDTV w/ Built-in Speakers, VGA & HDMI-Input and my GPU is a GTX 690. But whenever I try put the monitor onto HDMI at 1920x1080 the monitor cuts out the top and bottom of what should be displayed, and by that I mean that you cant see the bottom start menu bar. Any help is good help. Thanks for reading this.

the 32inch monitor you have is actually a tv so it will have some image aspect ratio built in...go into the tv menu and change the aspect ratio to "just scan" that should fix your problem...if it doesnt report back
