This outfit http://www.daproducts.com/index.htm has custom hard plastic
protectors for the 300D and 20D as well as generic protectors. I imagine a
custom protector for the 350D is in the works.

I bought a pack of those protectors for Palm/iPAQ and cut them
shorter...the width was a good fit...Been using it like that for about a
month with no problem...

I heard some camera shops are selling a product similar to the Palm Pilot
protectors, but made for LCD screens. You just cut them to fit.

All ridiculously-expensive custom options aside; I've been using cutouts
from el-cheapo standard office-supply acetate sheet protectors, taped
over the LCD, without incurring any kind of misadventure.

I used to use static cling window decal material on my 10D, but it
would start to peel off after a couple months or so. So I just bought
one of those plastic Hoodman things and it hasn't been a problem.
