CPU Cooler: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO Processor Cooler (RR-212E-16PK-R1)
GPU: ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP 2GB: coolest and quietest 28nm card - GTX670-DC2T-2GD5

Will this GTX670 fit this case, my older case was longer by about 40mm and that fit it pretty well, but im not sure about this case

    Thanks
    Jimmylad
  3. if possible, id suggest getting a antec 302. the 900 is pretty old in a design perspective and newer cases do benefit from better cabling and all that
  4. Ok, but will the ASUS GTX 670 TOP fit in a Antec 302 case?

    Thanks
  5. Antec 1100 i think it will be for my GTX then :) thanks for the links buddy

Your welcome! I will delete them now that was allot of links ;)
  7. Haha ok, however, on newegg, its $99 with 30% off, but in the UK, it costs £88 at Amazon. What is the minimum length for a case you would suggest for the gtx670, im thinking 510mm+ ?
  8. the 302 can easily fit it. the 670 top isnt that long
  9. That case sucks TBT he be better off with the 912 imo.I mean its retarded to house 300-400 dollar card in a cheap case i do not understand why people do that.Their willing to spend thousands of dollars on parts then buy a outdated budget 30 dollar case to store their precious rig in ahaha . P.S.It be a tight fit.
  10. nah. its the best case you can get for that price range. obviously you can get a better case, but for the money its unbeatable. i found the 912 side panels having a bit more flex
  11. My total build comes to £1,008 so far, so ill get a case up to £80.
  12. if you find a fractal arc midi in that price range, id get that. or the fractal r4

+1 my main point is when building a custom rig you should be aiming for a case + Great thermal performance + Expandability+ Plenty of options for cable management+ Good value for money. You do not need to spend $100.I would get the first or second listed.
  14. i just put a case up to $100 because he was looking at a 500R
  15. Thanks guys lol, i think i am going for the Cooler Master HAF ATX Mid Case

Using it for OS only, and a few programmes etc, i wont even use 64GB
  20. It's fine for OS i would not add anything else to that small of a SSD.
  21. Will be ordering my new PC tonight. Will post specs later this evening.

However, i can buy a ASUS 670 TOP for £357, or i can get a MSI GTX 680 for £389

Is it worth paying the extra £30 for a 680 in terms of performance, cooling, noise etc?
  22. You would need to decide if 7% performance gain is worth paying the extra £30 for i say sure but if it's this card hell no http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127671#top the 670 top out preforms it
  23. Nice on, thanks. Will stick with the 670 TOP then :).
