AMD Buldozer FX-4100
8Gb DDR3 Mem

Hi All, UPDATE

I just spotted a BIOS update for This MOBO on Gigabytes website so I applyed that Now on F4

See if that makes a diffrence

I probably will get a better GPU any recomendations? Would want to spend sub £100 (GBP)

Im not a big gamer, this is a bit of a workhorse PC in a Home Office with ocasional gameing

Do like the idea of giving one of the Mass Effect games a go!

Might be bad installation of OS and also do a stress test check specially on the memory.

Actually we had the same board and proci for the gpu im using gtx 560 i had no issues at all building this rig last two months ago.

Hi Bargzeek,

Since last post upgraded GPU to GX 650, fab!

Now I still got some BOSD's. But further tests seem to point to duff mem, bum install of Norton ISS.

Have reinstall Norton! and have removed one mem stick at a time and experimented in diffrent slots. so down to 4Gb mem from 8Gb

Must not speak too soon But I have now gone a month with no BSOD.

So next exeriments will be with some new memory!
