Well I ended up buying parts for a new PC to replace my current outdated rig and I want to know if I made a decent system to play games at 1920x1200 on high settings for a couple more years, you can leave any opinion here you want but the parts are already ordered so it's alittle too late to change now haha. I almost went AMD because I have always been on their side of the fence for my builds but I finally decided after lots of reading and for what I plan on doing to go Intel. I also switched sides on my GPU, I have always went Nvidia in the past but ATI/AMD's current offerings seemed better at their pricepoint. BTW, I don't plan on overclocking at all and I don't want to tbh, so that is why I went with a non-K version of my cpu. A few sales on newegg really pushed me in certain directions to try to meet my budget of $600 and saving $15 here and $40 there really helped, the prices I list are the prices I paid! So without further ad due let me list my components and you be the judge.

GPU- GIGABYTE HD 7870 GHz - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125418 $240, free Far Cry 3!!!
RAM- G.SKILL 8 GB DDR3 1600 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428 $0, free w/mobo!!!
CPU cooler- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103064 $25
New Mouse- Logitech G400 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104577 $35

Total: "EGG"xactly $600!!! Talk about meeting a budget lol, I was able to get some sort of discount or free gift with every single component so I am very happy about this build.

I already have a WD raptor but plan plan to purchse a SSD in the near future for this build, I already have a nice PSU and case. Once again any comments are welcomed!
