I didn't found any method to retrieve a email without attach. if I
want to read a mail of a friend/colleague when I'm travelling, I have
to receive all the attachments, often big and not useful on the
phone...
There is not a method to limit the amount of data for email or any
other system to get around this?

http://www.reqwireless.com, download their EmailViewer product. It's a
Java app and at US$19.95 is a lot of bang for the buck.

It's not what I'm looking for. It seems good, but I'm looking for a
program to READ the message (not only subject) W/O downloading the
attachment(s).
I can't find anything similar in this program, neither a size-limited
download of messages...
