Hello,

This is what i have picked out so far. Only thing i've bought so far is the mobo. Is there anything you would change in here except the mobo?

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($214.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Intel DZ77BH55K ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($89.95 @ Amazon) (lightning deal)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($39.99 @ Amazon) (CML8GX3M2A1600C9)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($129.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($94.95 @ B&H)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer ($17.99 @ SuperBiiz)

I also need help picking out the last few parts. I need a gpu, psu, and case. I have a budget of about $2-300 more. I'd like a decent video card that could handle animation software/ 3D software and games like starcraft 2, diablo 3, fallen elemental, etc. I like mmorpg's but not something like WoW that you pay monthly so online play is not a huge factor currently (it might be in the future since i'll have a computer that could finally handle it ;) ).

Thank for the help!

p.s. This week is black friday and then cyber monday right after that, so if you know any places in miami to get a good deal on anything on the top please let me know. Thanks!

Hi, I would change that 3tb into a WD. Seagates only have 1 yr warranty while WD is 2 years.

Samsung 830 is a better SSD drive for only a few more bucks.

That's all.

EDIT: You might want to switch your 8gb for...

Hey, thanks!

For the 3tb i was actually in the process of changing it when i found newegg selling it for 50% off with a 3 year extended warranty for $9 so i ended up getting that instead because it's a good deal.

Isn't the 840 a better SSD because it's a new one that just came out a month ago? Some people were iffy about it using TLC instead but the performance on it so far has been pretty good or am i missing something?
