660 ti sli power !?

I will be getting a second gtx 660 ti msi pe and i was wondering if a ultra 750 w power supply could run 2 gtx 660tis in sli with a 3570 k overclocked to 4.2 ghz i'm also planning on overclocking those cards in the future also

yes it could run those no problem even if overclock as long as its a good quality psu

deends on which version of the 750w ultra you bought. they have a few usable units, but the lowest ends ones are somethign you shouldn't look at.


tldr: LSP version is cancer, X4 is definately usable.

i don't think there's much microstuttering anymore.....

microstuttering will always exist in 2 card setups. its not how gpus work, its how they share the work. Adaptive V-Sync eases some of stuttering, but no dual card setup will eliminate it entirely, thats just how dual cards were almost coded to work together.

no i believe you there's microstuttering but it doesnt render sli bad for gaming.... its not how it used to be it's better
