My current setup is as follows.....

MOBO: Asus M4A78T-E
CPU: AMD Phenom II Black X4 970 3.5ghz Quad Core
Memory: 16GB (4X4gb) G-Skill Ripjaws X DDR3-1333 PC3-1066
PSU: Raidmax RX-730SS (730 watts)
System Drive: WD Velociraptor 600gb (10000 rpm)
Data Drive: WD Caviar Blue 250gb (7200rpm)

Graphics card: EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SE

IMO most of my hardware is sufficient almost all the app's and games I intend to, but for some reason after I dropped $60 on guild wars 2 i found the game to be nearly unplayable due to jerky visuals and low frame rates. I realize the card i have is relatively outdated, but this being my first build i didn't know better than skimping on the video card...

Any suggestions welcome whether about graphics cards or any suggestions on my build at all....

Thanks in advance

Best solution

Not from America but assume you are so this seems a really nice deal http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... :)

As you can see here

At 1080p the 7870 shouldn't have any trouble playing Guild Wars 2 (and other games) at full detail and high framerate. Plus you'll be getting better performance than this with the GHz version I posted above and with the opportunity of OCing further to just under stock HD7950 levels this card is great for you!
