Need help! SLI ?

I built a new system and ran outta $ for the graphics card. So my plan is to get 2xHD 7870. I will buy 1 at a time.

As of now I have 2 EVGA 9500GT 512MB DDR3 cards. I was thinking, I could SLI them and make do for now. maybe overclock them a little and be able to play FIFA 12 and dota. What are thi opinions?

you can download afterburner (msi) and try....i wouldnt expect the world though.....
