FireWire on Audigy

I have a problem here, the FireWire port provided by Audigy..there isn't any software to use it provided by Creative!There is a FireNet software but only for connection computers..Anyoen can help?

It's a firewire port... kind of like a USB port... it doesn't need any software... only the things plugged into it should.

Your OS should recognise it and install the driver. Mine did (Win2000)

Ok let's say I want to do video editing with my DV camcorder right, I just plug in the camcorder into the FireWire port and restart my computer?And I guess I have to get some video editing software?

Yup, except for the restarting your computer bit. You shouldn't need to restart.
