Ok so i was doing a simple transfer of parts to a new pc case, plugged everything in as it was before. Now when i turn it on either i get a cannot detect boot media mgr, or when i boot through the windows disk pretty much it wants me to reformat my hdd but i cant because i got pics i cant replace on it. I wasnt expecting this issue so i didnt do back ups (rookie movei know). What is causing this problem?

Thermaltake lvl 10 gts black
Asus z 75 chipset
I5 dual core
8 gigs gskil
4 tb hdd altogether.
Corsair cpu liquid cooler h60
750 watt psu
Evga 1gb gtx 560

You can save your valuable stuff.
Before you screw up that HDD in any way
if it is not already.

Remove the HDD and go to a friend with a computer
Use a HDD adapter with its own power supply.
Attach USB cable from the adapter to friend's USB port.
Save those files to a folder on your friends hdd drive
or preferably your flash drive in his/her computer.

Hope that helps
