Can a gs600 run a gtx 680?

im sorry, i'm very noob at this but my corsair gs600 has 2 six pin connectors both with 2 pin connectors for an 8 pin, why to i need cutters?

It should be okay unless you have been abusing it. If you have the budget, getting a new, high quality PSU is certainly a plus. I would recommend one of these any day of the week to any user:

You don't need cutters. What was being referred to was extra power cables on your original PSU that might take up space.

ahm, abusing means? i usually use my rig 24/7, no OCs.

I'm from the philippines. Really noob here. my rig is just a year old. My budget is for a graphics card only. i was hoping my PSU can run an asus gtx 680 dcu II top version.

24/7 is fine. No OCs is even better.

As long as you have good input power and keep your PSU clean (blow dust out with compressed air) and you should get several years of use out of a good PSU.
