I am looking to build my first computer with the following in mind:

Budget: ~$700

Purpose: word processing, web browsing, some gaming

Below is what I have picked out so far:

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme3 LGA 1155 Intel Z77

PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W

Case: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower

Hard Drive: Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Video Card: HIS iCooler H777F1G2M Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready

RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) (comes free w/ mobo)

Advice on how I could better this build would be greatly appreciated :)

EDIT: No immediate plans on overclocking, but this computer needs to last as long as possible and I may wish to overclock in the future.

Well, are you actually going to overclock the processor? If not, then you don't need a "K" processor or a Z77 motherboard.

You can go with a regular i5 and a H77.
