current set up :

ASRock P55 Extreme LGA 1156 I
Intel Core i7-860 Lynnfield 2.8GHz
8 Gigs G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600
2x SAPPHIRE Vapor-X Radeon HD 5770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5

having recently tried playing Saints Row the Third and getting 25-30 fps on medium-ultra settings, i think i'm going to ditch AMD because of the drivers and performance in some of the current games. While it would be nice to continue to have 2 cards, i don't want to update my 500w ps so i'm looking for 1 single card that should last me awhile. I've been out of the graphics card loop for awhile so i haven't really seen/heard much about anything in the past 2 years. I'm looking at either the 660 Ti or 670 as a long term replacement (hopefully 2-4 years if i decided to go SLI)

Price i'd prefer to be under $400.

gtx 670 is better benchmark wise but price to performance ratio the 660ti is better. If you have the money go for the 670 if your on a tight budget for for the 660ti. Also with those high end graphics cards you can get a free game such as borderlands 2 or sleeping dogs or something like that.

I would opt for the 670. I have owned both 660ti and 670 SLI and single card on my recent build and ran benchmarks on all 4 configurations and I can assure you the difference in performance from the 660ti to the 670 is a major gap. spend the extra $100 and get a 670. you won't be sorry :)

gaming at 1900 res will be better with the 670. the small memory interface will really start to hurt you there on the lesser card.
