Hi all,

Newegg has their Black Friday computer specials up at:
http://promotions.newegg.com/best-black-friday-online-d...

For $500-$700 which gaming computer do you think is the best? Maybe buying a cheaper one and then upgrading it's video card...

I was also looking at TigerDirect Black Friday deals and building a system and can get it to $573 without a Windows 7 license. I am not nervous about putting the hardware together. It is getting a good install of Windows 7 to work right that concerns me.

What's your thoughts? Are there any pre-built "gold nuggets that can be tweeked or it time to get out the screw driver and build from scratch?

The H60 is pretty bad for a liquid cooler. I would just stick with a Hyper 212 Evo. Also, That's a pretty crappy PSU. 72% efficiency. I think building from scratch would be better. Also, you only need 8GB, you're under spending on your GPU.

Yep, build from scratch. The only pre-builts that are good as computers are Falcon Northwest and Origin, but both of those are going to be expensive.

And building a computer is pretty easy - half an hour of watching a youtube video, and an hour and a half putting everything together.
