Physx Probelms

Hey guys, I've been using my 680 GTX and having pretty shitty performance at times in Borderlands 2, however I picked up a 450 GTS for 30$ and Performance may be better, its too hard to tell without a benchmarking tool. However in batman AC i get worse FPS. With my 680 alone I get 67, with the Physx card I get 65.

the cause of this could be the fact that the gtx 680 is waiting for the gts 450 to calculate the physx...you may be better off without the gts 450 in your system

Borderlands 2 seems to not have fps drops when I have the 450 GTS doing Physx, also Nvidias Liquid Physx performs nearly 3x better with the 450gts

of course a benchmark will show improvements but it makes sense bc batman is more heavy into physx than borderlands 2....I know of instances where a 560ti evens slows down high end cards when being used as physx let alone a gts 450 which is much weaker.

Post number 18 has the same specs as I do, but much better fps with the dedicated physx card

hmmm have you tried the same driver configuration as that guy? also are you sure your cards are getting enough power?
