Hi...I want to build a PC for gaming and a bit of Photoshop/After Effects work. The emphasis is on gaming ;) I may OC it just a little bit to 4.0 Ghz. It's a micro atx case. Just wanted to ask if this build would suffice or if any parts have to be upgraded of changed. And if installing OS to the SSD is better than using an SSD cache :)

CPU: i5 3570k
CPU Cooler : CM Hyper 212 EVO
Mobo: Gigabyte Z77M-D3H
GPU: MSI HD 7850 Power Edition
Memory: Kingston/Corsair 8GB 1600mhz
Storage: 1TB WD Carviar Blue HDD
SSD: 60GB Kingston or a 30GB (I might consider using smart response)
Case: Sharkoon MS140 or MS120 (If I can find it)
PSU: I forgot the brand (sorry) but I remember its 650W.

If you want m-ATX then the best case available IMO is the Silverstone TJ 08e

Look also at some of the Asus m-ATX Z77 motherboards . Better BIOS and one can even crossfire/SLI but I forget the model ......

Definitely smart response unless you can fit at least a 120 gig SSD . All the programs you install will be on the boot drive too by default . 60 gig is too small

Thanks. I'll try to get an Asus mobo. Isn't the MS120 better as it has 2 fans? And the MS140 seems to be the same as the silver stone except that its fan is on the side rather than the top. Is it better to have a fan at the top? Oh, and can a 7850 power edition fit into the cases? Budget is around 1100 US dollars
