Nvidia 8800 gtx Not Working

Hello,
I'm really new to building my own computer and this is the first graphics card i have installed.
I've tried to install the GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card into my computer. However I am getting no display.
Am i meant to plug my single monitor into the back of graphics card and not into the mobo?
Also do i need to plug both 6pins into the Graphics Card, or just one?

Graphics card:
Nvidia GeForce 8800GTX

Mobo:
ASUS P5G41T-M/USB3

CPU:
Intel(R) Celeron E3300 2.50GHz

Power Supply:
ATX 12V 450UB

Not sure the power supply is compatible (it might not have enough 6-pin connectors). Everything else looks fine.
