Going from Radeon 5670 to 7850.

How much of an upgrade is this considered to be?

Also do I need Windows 64 bit to fully utilize it @ 1920 x 1080p?


specs are i3 2120 gigabyte z68 ap ud-3 8gb ddr3 ram in dual channel (ya I know I need 64 bit to fully utilize it)

Been waiting to upgrade to a better gpu it's just so expensive

also I have antec high current gamer 620 watt PSU

I upgraded from a 5670 (DDR5) to a saph 7850 non-oc and it's a world of difference. Playing gw2/wow/bf3 mostly.

I'd go 64bit regardless. I'd hate having that useless RAM floating around if nothing else, but that's just me. And yeah, your PSU is more than enough.
