Budget cards are not worth gaming on. Spend the money and get a good card, or don[t spend the money and keep what you already have.

OS: Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHz
Memory: 2GB for 32-bit OS or 4GB for 64-bit OS
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB

That's what Treyarch released as BO2's system requirements along with what Maximum Game already said, it's no longer DX9 it's DX11. It also won't run on Win XP, in case anyone still has a rig with it installed.

Yeah, your 550 TI is going to be good for BO2. 1920x1080 on medium maybe high settings. Call of Duty's aren't system hogs, not compared to BF3 or Crysis 2 and it's a super lightweight compared to Metro 2033

I noticed you double posted, but I'll reply here too, because I'm bored, I really have nothing else to do and I love these forums. Anyways, in your mind...what does "budget" mean? A GTX 550 TI is $115 shipped ($100 MIR) while on the AMD side a Radeon 7750 is $100. So it all depends on what your definition of "budget" is.

Edit: If you're looking to play BO2 and not venture into the BF3, Crysis 2, Metro 2033 side, then your 550 TI is good to go. If you start moving towards the other games, you'll notice your GPU's age.
