ok guys i have a xfx r7870 the issue i am having is when my son is playing trainsimulator 2013 and arma 2 it runs fine for 5 miniutes then i start getting graphical distortion (NOT STATIC) it flashes very fast then the game screen gose back to normal and it continues untill i turn the game off and it is fine when i am at the desktop here is my setup so maybe you can help me figure out this problem please

prosessor: intel core I7 2600K
Motherboard: asus p8z68-V LX
RAM: 16GB corsair
GPU: XFX Radeon R7870 core Edition 2GB DDR5
OS: windows 7 home premium 64 bit
Power supply: Win power plus Total power 850 watts (im not sure if this is peak)

(The power supply has 1 6 pin pci-e lead with another coming out of it like a dasiy chain thay are powering my gpu

any help is greatful and thanks in advanced

That thing is a ticking time bomb.

As i mentioned, this may be your power supply.

Did you say it only has 1 GPU power connector??

correct but it has a second pci-e 6 pin coming off the same wire as the one in the card

i cant help but laugh in sadnes because i bought it from a shop that was consistant it was a 850 watt

that is a nice psu will i be able to get this off amazon as i am from the uk and dont really understand the dollers and euros part of politics

doubtful as i have only had it back one day and refuse to use it anymore untill the new psu arrives
