Hey everybody!
I was wondering if buying an xfx r7770 and crossfiring it with my r7750 give me more performance then an evga gtx 560ti (fermi) 2gb card?

Solution

Not worth it. Its also not worth it to crossfire a stronger card with a weaker card -- they will both operate at the level of the weaker card.

You are better off either grabbing another 7750 (not ideal) or just selling it and buying a new more expensive card.

Edit: To answer the initial question - crossfired 7750s are slightly better than the single 560Ti card.

Ahh okay. I guess now I have another question....if i get the 7850, would I be able to use my 7750 as a dedicated physics processor or something? I know that you could do that with nvidia cards, but i'm not sure if you can with amd cards??

The 7850 sounds good to me, if you sell the 7750 you would probably be able to get one for the price of another 7770 if that makes sense....

...and have better overall performance in general than 2 low end cfx cards...

This is not possible with AMD cards.

What power supply are you using?
