What is nvidia doing about faulty drivers for customers

Hello,
I have been having problems with error messages nvidia driver has stopped and has reset.
After doing some research I find the the drivers I had been using where faulty. I had been using 196.75 drivers until I downloaded the newest ones. I'm still having the problem. The card gets very hot at the section of the board that the video ram is at. Is Nvidia offering to replace or discount replacements?

Can you be more specific?

The card might be overheating, I'd replace the thermal paste.

That error is not normally caused by faulty drivers. That error normally only occurs when their is a hardware issue, such as lack of power, over heating or voltage issues. There are other reasons too, but it sounds like your probably may not be a driver issue at all.

What are the temps under load?
