ATI TV Wonder/MMC7.1 NO ICONS

I'm trying to get ATI TV Wonder to work. I've loaded MMC 7.1 (and new drivers & Direct X 8.)
Problem is that I don't get MMC icons. From CD that came with card (2.0),I have installed "all" i.e., Easy Install. I think the using the old MMC from the CD messes up my trying to use 7.1??

I'm running 98se on (new) ASUS TUSL2-C W/ 1.2 Celeron & 196megs.
Any ideas? thanks, Steve

I'm all set. I got my TV Wonder going by using MMC71tw03 which is a beta driver for win 2000. I found it on ATI's German site (English).
