ATI rage pro tricky problem

I recently bought an AMD system which came with an ATI rage pro video card. I have tried to use it with WIndows 98 se on 2 different systems but both times (after I reboot after installation), the screen goes totally blank. Strangely, I installed it with Windows 98se on a Pentium 133 and IT WORKED??!! I have tried every driver which exists on the ATI web site. ANyone know what's up?

how do you know what rage pro you have?
go here and use correct product name
