HIS 7870 worth the money?

HIS 7870 at $220($200 after mir) is back in stock. Is the card worth the money, or should I go with the msi hawk at $260? Is the hawk worth the extra $40? Will I notice that much of a difference in performance/will I be able to OC the HIS to the hawk's level?

edit: this isn't the HIS 7870 turbo; it's just at 1ghz as opposed to the hawk's 1.1ghz.

  1. This one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161404

If so, I believe it has a very good cooler (blower type) and should let you push the core to 1.1 ghz. If you're talking about the version with the fan in the center, avoid it as it's cheaply made.
  2. Right, that one. It can only be oc'd that high?

+1. The HIS ICeQ coolers are great; effective and almost inaudible. Their non-IceQ coolers, just the center fan, are nothing special, and I've read a lot of negative comments about fan problems beyond just noise. Take with a sack of salt, but there you have it.
