Built my first computer in ten years, lol.

Verything actually went very smooth. Using a 32" 1080p for a monitor. Motherboard is z77 (mci g45).

So hooked up to the onboard hdmi to set it up. Installed graphics card (mci 550 ti). Looks like it installed correctly. Shows as yhe active graphics everywhere, the integrated graphics no longer show as a device.

However, the HDMI on the graphocs card is not working, it is wierd its like the card is working but I have to be hooked up to the HDMI on the motherboard.

I'm confused, am I even using my graphics card? Please help, thanks.

To clarify, I have a hdmi on both the motherboard and the graphics card. Hooked up to the board it works. HDMI through gpu, then nothing.

Why would I use DVI when I can use HDMI?

Are you guys sure this has nothing to do with that virtu crap?

Thanks again.
