Ok, here's the deal. I just bought two sticks of OCZ's PC150 SDRAMM CAS2 256megs each. I bought them for overclocking. But before I started I wanted to check to see that they were both working so I ran Norton System Works Memory troubleshooter and right away it found an error. I ran it two or three times and it always comes back with an error at the same address. So I took one stick out and ran the test. No problems on the first one. I swiched sticks and ran the test again. No problems. WTF?! Put both back in and my mystery error is back again! Any ideas what is going wrong? I'm running the memory at 100mhz in a ASUS P3V4X mobo at CAS2. I'm running WIN98 and I've heard that it's not very friendly when it comes to large memory amounts but I thought I would be safe with 512. Help Please.

Instead of using Norton you'd better use this program for checking your RAM. I think you can't trust Norton for 100% on memory testing.

Norton's memory tester sux. I used it for a while, and while it never reported any errors, it would fill up the RAM and never release it. (out of memory errors-with 512 MB?) Evict it! Matter of fact, evict the Norton Systemworks altogether! The 'optimizers' and so forth have a bad habit of misplacing things and trashing data. I DO use Norton's Antivirus and Internet Security, been real happy with them.
