Linux and Windows 7 Ultimate Multi boot ?

I'm looking for a version of linux that will multi boot with win 7 ultimate!

I have an AMD 64 bit cpu and have tried a couple of different flavors and versions of Linux to no success.

either there's no multi boot option ( used WUBI supposedly to success) with the Two versions I tried, or it boots right to Linux, and then hangs with a device error.

Has anyone had a successful combination of Win 7 ult and linux that multi boots?

Any Linux will do it, AFAIK... first install Windows 7, then install Linux (I'd recommend Ubuntu 11.04) and when it asks you whether to install GRUB2 into the MBR, accept.

That said, why do you need Linux?
a b $ Windows 7

Try Ubuntu 11.04 , the thing you want to do is create a bootable usb drive with Linux on it by using UNetbootin. I have done it and with the usb drive plugged in on the start up you get the option of Windows or Linux. If you don't want to use the usb then you need a seperate partition on your hdd for the Linux OS.
