So, has anyone noticed patterns in names for Exalted?

It seems as though the Realm has somewhat Japanese style
names, at least for the Dragon-Blooded, but what about
the commoners?

Which part of the world or class background gives rise
to the Sad Ivory / Poisonous Carnelian Blade / Falling
Snow kind of names?

And what about Lookshy?

Old Realm and Old Realm-esque names tend to follow the c-v-c-v-c pattern
of consonants and vowels. Tepet Kathar. Ledaal Varis. Ketchup
Carjack. In-setting, some of these have Old Realm meanings but a lot of
them are just parents choosing sounds that to them, sound cool.

The second most common group of names tend to be phrases. Take a fancy
name from another language and then translate it into English so that
its meaning is clear. Excessively Righteous Blossom. Unhesitatingly
Loyal Weapon. Cloud Princess. Harmonious Jade. Rose Tatoo. Panther.
Swan.

The least-common group of names is stuff like "Dace" and "Arianna,"
where the author just chooses something that sounds neat.

The setting is also entirely open to using cool names in other
languages, if you want. Just invent a country and a naming tradition to
go with it. The most common naming conventions aren't the only ones.
