I am a gamer and my computer runs really well however it is struggling with Planet Side 2. I get maybe 30 fps when fighting is at its peak and anything less than 60 for me is unacceptable.

I am out of the loop when it comes to computer hardware so I am seeking advice from you find people on what the bottleneck on my system is and where would my money be best spent.

This is what I have as of now

First of all, don't bump.
Second, I would personally buy a Radeon 7970 for your graphics. That will give you a major boost (50% on paper). Honestly, other than that, I would just overclock your processer. Everything else looks just fine. However, your lag could be due to a slow internet connection.

Looking at the products you have linked I noticed that you linked a single channel RAM "kit". Are you in-fact running a single channel set-up?

A budget would also give us and idea of what may be attainable for your proposed upgrade.

990FX is a dual channel system. I don't know why you'd purchase 1 stick of RAM for it.

Indeed, but that's what he has linked and may very well be his issue if true.
