I have XP Home edition on one of my PCs (SOYO Motherboard with AMD
processor, 500 M mem). I am running into 2 issues. (1)It keeps rebooting
itslef without any warnings and (2) some times I get error message when
I start the machine. Below are details of the error message:
---------------------------------------
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini071304-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\Name\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER21.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 768_1
--------------------------------------
It says the error was caused by a device driver but does not tell me
which device driver.
I am not sure if both of these are linked (rebooting and error message)
because when I get an error message it does not cause it to reboot
necessarily.
How can I find out why it reboots and why it gives me the error message?
How can I get rid of it?
Thank you for your help

My error message text appears to be different than yours. Did you get
your message under windows or after windows terminated on DOS screen?
When I stop the automatic reboot from the advanced options I get a
similar message 'page fault in non page area', there is also some
mention about IRQ somewhere (its about a page long text). Does yours
reboot automatically as well? Mine does not reboot automatically all
thetime, sometimes it comes up with the error report transmission screen.
