I used to play World in Conflict on my Pentium system with my GTS 240 (yes im upgrading soon)! i built a new one with much better hardware. I want to play it again on my new system and so i reinstalled it and is says i must have direct X 9.0c or higher to run this program. I did everything i can possibility think of: Reinstall nivida drivers/directx, update game, download a different version of the game (DX10), install on OS HDD,

Still says i cant run it

Old System:
Pentium D 775 @ 3.40GHz
4GB DDR2 Kingston RAM
Dell XPS 400 OEM MOBO
GTS 240 OEM
1TB WD caviar Green
Killer Spartian K1 Ethernet card :D
XPS 400 OEM CASE
Cooler master GX 650 watt
Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit OS
DX RUN TIME:11

My new system:
I5-2400 @ 3.10GHz LGA 1155
8GB DDR3 Crosiar Vengeance RAM
ASrock Z77 Extreme 4 (sli)MOBO
GTS 240 OEM
160GB samsung HDD OS
1.5TB WD caviar Blue
ASUS DvD RW Drive x24
Coolermaster GX 650 watt
Coolermaster Elite 430 Midtower case
Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit OS

My question is why did it run before and now it wont? :??: :??: :??:
